Photo Gallery: Boston Band Crush's One Night Band Event

Boston music blog, Boston Band Crush put on their fourth annual charity concert event, "One Night Band" Saturday night at the Middle East Rock Club. It's a great event every year; the bloggers pull Boston musicians' names out of a hat to form new super groups for a day. The new bands practice the day of the event at sponsored spaces, create new music and perform for a crowd of fans that night. Then, they break up. All the proceeds go to Zumix and Girls Rock Campaign Boston.

This year, they wanted to make the 8 new bands' performances (plus opening band Mosquitos in Tuxedoes and closing band MötörBöat) more accessible and live stream the event to the interwebs so fans could watch the rock show from the comfort of their own home. No babysitter necessary! Jim Gilbert of Plus1TV approached us about partnering up to make happen and we said, "Of course!"

We've been supporters of the local music scene for decades ("Real Rock TV" anyone?) and were thrilled a) have the chance to bring Boston Band Crush's fantastic event to a bigger audience, and b) produce a killer rock show. We live switched four cameras to capture and stream a dynamic viewing experience for those at home. The place was packed and the livestream.com/plus1tv channel - where we streamed it to - saw a great amount of traffic.

We're photo junkies and make sure to shoot stills at every one of our productions. Check out our gallery from the night below!
